Politics Dave Lister: Sad Grandpa 9:50 pm

Posted by Wm. Steven Humphrey on Tue, May 16 at 9:50 PM

Reporting from the Dave Lister party at the BC Saloon is our own Adam Gnade, who says the libertarian crowd isn’t pleased with Dave’s poor 15% showing against Burdick and Sten…

I’m easily the youngest person by forty years. It’s incredibly depressing. There were five people in attendance when I arrived — and that’s including the bartenders. When the results started coming in, people started flooding in the doors… all my grandparents age. The buffet features all deep friend food. Isn’t that bad for senior citizens? The place is a total dive. Like, maybe it was a 50s revival place in the 80s. Pictures of the Fonz are on the walls. BRRRR!! When they announced that Lister was only at 15 percent, the room went dead silent. It looks like a pretty bad loss. Everyone’s hanging their heads— what a bunch of sad grandparents.
