It’s like a dry Texas desert complete with tumbleweeds. After learning of Ted Wheeler’s decisive victory right off the bat (70% to her 22%), Diane retreated, closing herself off in a room—unfortunately some TV guys got in. It’s hard to tell what’s going on in there, but outside, the Linn supporters are leaving in droves. From what I can see, she looks unfazed, a mild smile, thanking people, and hugging her supporters inside the room.
An aid closes the blinds, now leaving people outside with nothing to look at. The audience really starts to leave now. Pretty soon there won’t be anyone left to hear a concession speech.
