These weird chalk drawings started appearing on Clinton Street over the past week. This is a photo of one of the smaller ones - it takes up the corner where two sidewalks meet at SE 29th Avenue. There’s another one a few blocks west, that takes up an entire intersection. They look like massive vaginas.

We saw the same mysterious design drawn on paper before these chalk images appeared—the paper was tucked under a rock on a neighbor’s steps. Bizarre.
