As noted earlier, the No on Measure 45 campaign is really just now swinging into action, which might explain a couple of unfortunate typos that have come rolling through from the campaign today.
First, there was a media release, with the subject line “It doesn’t take a brain surgeon to figure out that term limits are bad for Oregon.” At the top of the email, in bold type, was the campaign’s website address—well, almost. It actually says “www.noonmeasure25.org”. Which, as you might have guessed, is wrong. Whoops. I’m sure that Measure 25, if we had one this year, would probably deserve a no vote too.
Then, a little bit ago, I was pouring over the Contributions & Expenditures reports that are due today. Under the campaign committee’s (Elections Are Term Limits) committee description, it says “Supports Measure 45.” Which, also, as you might have guessed, is wrong. Exactly the opposite.
For the record, it’s No on 45, which can be found at noonmeasure45.org. And they oppose Measure 45.
Funny, as the treasurer of that committee, I was just looking us up myself and noticed the misstatement of our position in the SOS summary. It's their mistake (it's right if you click on our committee and read the purpose there) rather than ours, and I had already emailed them when I came across your post.
Speaking of typos, your I anonymous column has one glaring one that left me scratching my head for a tad.
I give up. What's the anonymous typo? (I'm doubting the "glaring" description.)

This bunch shows that the government union takeover of the No on 45 campaign is failing to prove its point that the seniority system works really well. Even though the old bosses - Nelson and McCormick - were the oiliest insiders in the state, at least they seemed minimally competent.
