Media Iraq: NBC calls a spade “a spade.”

It’s official. NBC says Iraq is in the depths of a “civil war.” Other networks are yet to follow suit. From Yahoo:

Matt Lauer said on the “Today” show that “after careful consideration, NBC News has decided that a change in terminology is warranted, that the situation is Iraq with armed militarized factions fighting for their own political agendas can now be characterized as civil war.
Guns-N-Roses-Civil-War-3517.jpgIn related news, Guns-N-Roses (who, you may remember, “don’t need no civil war”) are playing the Rosegarden on December 11. I hope Axl makes some reference to the fact.
