Music Jay-Z is a Feelings Hurter

Posted by Wm. Steven Humphrey on Thu, Nov 16 at 3:53 PM

For those keeping up with the latest rap beefs, JAY-Z is still bent out of shape after being “greased” by Dipset members Cam’ron and JIM JONES (apparently for insinuating that the shine has left the diamond in regards to Hova’s Roc-a-Fella label)—and while many expected Jay-Z to remain above the fray, the new leaked single “Brooklyn High” says otherwise, in which Jay seems all to eager to hurt Jim’s feelings. I wish they could get along.

the roc dynasty is over like the ming dynasty. the song is wack b. didn't have no kind of takeover flavor. he might as well said nothing. greats are suppose to have one punch knockouts. he swung and missed.

Thats shit did the job them dipset niggas is whack. Cam aint went platinum since he left the rock. Jim jones is a one hit wonder. U cant be serious. Everybody know that jim jone cant compete with jay!

Holla

Finally, a song off Kingdom Come that I would actually put on my ipod. Jay has done a lot better diss tracks than this, but I think the execution here was most interesting. Cam'ron and crew attacked Jay-Z about one year ago. And what did Jay do? Nothing. He kept his mouth shut and didn't say a word, even when Dipset got Jimmie Walker to portray him on the Killa Season DVD. Everybody figured that Jay was sitting this fued out, not even legitimizing Cam'ron, Jim Jones, et al. But holla—10 months after the fact, when everybody let their guard down and figured it was history, Hova came back with the what's what. The song could have used some better lyrics, but I dig the whole approach. It's some "Omar on the Wire" shit.

THIS S*** IS WACK!..IF JAY-Z WAS GONNA WASTE HIS TIME COMING BACK ON THE WACK ASS b****SET CLOWNS THEN HE COUL'VE AT LEAST CAME HARD. I MEAN COME ON NOW THE BEST PART OF THE SONG IS WHEN HE SCREAMIN OUT BROOKLYN!

Please do not hesitate to choose. This

I must win this battle. You should help

Do not be angry please
