Sports Last Chance For Women’s Football

It was a big deal when ladies started boxing, and plenty of folks were aghast that the fairer sex would subject themselves to such”¦ brutishness. Now suburban housewives take boxing classes and it ain’t no thing. The new way to push the envelope in female sport is with full contact football! Find out if you have what it takes to be a player on Portland’s own badass Pacific Northwest Division Champion team, the Portland Shockwave! This Saturday is your last chance to try out for next season:

Saturday, December 16th
10:00am - until Noon
Try-outs will be held at the old Whitaker Junior High on the corner of NE 42nd
and Killingsworth in Portland.
Wear comfortable athletic clothing. Cleats are recommended but not mandatory.
The one-time Try-out fee is $25. If you have already tried out, please feel
free to come back and try to improve your times (for free.) You will receive a
free Nike lanyard at the time your try-out fee is paid in full.

If you can not attend this last try-out, please contact us to schedule a private
try-out.
