Fashion The Latest in Themed Sneakers

Posted by Marjorie Skinner on Thu, Dec 28 at 4:19 PM

Is it just me, or have I seen this before? So now the Melvins have their own sneaker. Can anyone have a sneaker? I think the Mercury should have a sneaker. Think how cool the design could be, incorporating our greatest hits of covers, maybe. Who do you think should issue it? Nike or Adidas? Design ideas?

I mean god, we can do better than this yawn fest:

Nike for sure.

Adidas is borrrrring.

Easy call-Nike.

Those shoes are definitely wicked boring. However, the Melvins/Big Business mashup that's been happening on their recent tour is about as close to Godhead as you're going to get in this day and age of candy ass wannabe rock pussies. Two drummers playing in perfect time, revamping all of the Melvins hits - it's positively HUGE and if you don't go you're a dipshit.

There! Boring shoes be damned!

It should be Nike, and it should be ONLY the '06 Fourth Of July cover.
