Fashion Big Sale at Le Train Bleu

Posted by Marjorie Skinner on Wed, Jan 10 at 2:12 PM

Most of us can probably only shop at Le Train Bleu (748 NW 11th) when there’s a big sale anyway, unless it’s payday and we’re about to embark on a month-long fast. Good thing there’s a big sale happening at Le Train Bleu right now.

Why are you giving these companies free advertising when your newspaper could be charging them standard rates to promote their sales? Bad business policy.

(Also, vapid.)

(also, broken record.)

You're a professional writer and a cliche is the best retort you could come up with??? Come one--much better is expected.

Come two: Kevin, are you on a personal mission to make the Mercury into a newsweekly/blog version of The West Wing? That is a noble mission, my friend.

These posts about clothes reveal so much about this town.
It comes down to shopping for some jumper that was a home ec project in 1974. That fucker is clunky. I know, I know, thecutthecolorthefabrication--the uber clunkiness. Is this supposed to be the comfort food of clothing? The meatloaf for ones torso?
And shorts?!?! Made out of something other than denim or twill?!?! Right on the edge of cutting.
Welcome to sad town.

If by "clunky," you mean "totally hot," then I 100 percent agree.

Also, Kevin and "Kevin's Friend," if you hate this blog so much, why do you spend so much time on it?

Nerd-
If by "hate" you mean "love" then I 100 percent agree.

Marjorie- is the jumper a mini?

Um, I would assume so. This is actually an image taken from the LTB web site to show the turtleneck underneath; they don't sell the jumper, but it is from the same line, Lover, from Australia. Who knew they wore turtlenecks in Australia…
