Fashion First Friday At Denwave

Posted by Marjorie Skinner on Wed, Jan 3 at 4:02 PM

It can be really expensive to enjoy the fashion world, a world in which fantasy and exclusivity and indulgence can all collide in some very ugly financial incidents. Luckily, we live in an era where vintage shopping and thrift stores are actually a desirable option. And some of the best overall styles come from the mish mashing of what are politely called “investment pieces” and items from the $1 bin. In that spirit, day after tomorrow Denwave is launching its First Friday vintage sale: Designer and co-proprietor Genevieve Dellinger will delve into her favorite findings from her side re-sale business, and be selling most items between $8-14!!! And while you’re at, feel free to mix the vintage finds with the rest of the store’s inventory, and also look for records and cds for sale, courtesy of Dellinger’s beau. So head on down to E Burnside after work this Friday, and don’t forget to stop and say hi to the other First Friday evening revelers on the strip! Good times”¦
