Media Fox “Comedy” Show Somehow Gets Worse

Posted by Scott Moore on Fri, Feb 16 at 10:44 AM

I didn’t think it was possible, but the criminally unfunny Joel Surnow has crapped out something even less funny than that clip we showed you yesterday. It’s definitive proof that Surnow, the pop culture terrorist behind 24, loves torture. Except this time he’s torturing hapless viewers.

Here’s a promo that aired on the Hannity & Colmes show. If there’s one thing to say about these jackasses, it’s that they know their audience.

The Cindy Sheehan joke was funny

But aside from that, the only funny thing was Ann's owl-like stare.

At least there are fewer racist jokes in this clip.

One could argue that there are two big racist jokes in it.

Zing!

I actually thought it was kinda funny. Scary, but funny.

Of course, the really weird thing is this notion that George W. Bush never happened... "The grown-ups are back in charge" and the Clinton/cigar joke implied that the most recent president was Clinton.

They're really running away from their president.

The best part of that clip is how Colmes tries to fake a laugh, and even Hannity is having none of it. You can see on his face how stupid he thinks it is. Such a clear partisan lean coming from his network also must take away from his cred as an independent journalist... How embarassing.

Am I the only one that found this excruciating?

They're trying waaaaaaaaaay too hard here.

I get that they're not taking themselves seriously...except that they have zero timing. Coulter is just too creepy all around.

Stewart and Colbert are funny because they're willing to take shots at everybody. They take stuff that the Beltway folks see as serious and toss it on its head.

Maybe I'm too partisan..but honestly..this show sucks.

Skinny and fat went to bed. Fat rolled over and skinny was dead. Yay!
