Most of us thought there would be Democracy in China, before there would be Chinese Democracy, but looks like it’s finally happening. After 641 years, a new Guns N’ Roses song. Download it now, before the RIAA kicks my head in.

It’s called “Better.” As in it’s “not better than Appetite for Destruction, but it is better than Axl’s cornrows.”

Comments

they sound like a fake band from a sci-fi movie. Blerf.

I hate it. That solo is total weaksauce.

What the hell is my brother doing? Listening to this is worse than dying.

Why bother? I'm positive they still suck.

Bob is totally rolling over in his grave right now. At least lil' Tommy is still playing bass with Paul. It's enough for me to almost overlook this filth.

Yeah - was able to download this track, or the demo of it anyway - a while back, amongst a handful of others. They're all terrible - believe it or not, this is the hit.

Better is NOT one of the better tracks that will be on the album. Look for others before you write off this album.

P.S. No matter how good it could be it will not justify the 641 year wait, but it will have to do.

Well, it sounds rather Emo-hipster to me. I hope Axl doesn't start wearing mesh hats, girl pants, spending too much time in the mirror before he goes to the bank to cash his parent's monthly check while chanting "I must understand this art!" Sorry, that was stupid. Look what that song does to people!

I think this song blows, but Catcher in the Rye and Madagascar and even There was a Time, are really, really good.

Damn, you people who posted above me are annoying. What is the problem. Your ears just aren't used to hearing Rock that isn't paint by numbers generic tripe. Better is a great song. And yes, TWAT, CITR, the Blues, and Madagascar are brilliant. CD will be unbearably good.

Give the song some more listen throughs. Don't be afraid that GNR is back to set things straight. Rock is in a state of 911 right now. Instead of being a drone, why don't you just say thank you, and welcome back.

this song rocks!! dont know what u fools above have benn listing to. There was maybe a few weak pionts in the song but this is still not the final cut. Killer riffs but yeah solo could`ve been BETTER. I seen them twice in 06 and they were simply awesome. The album will be great but the real question is will it match up the the earlier albums. Who knows. But i cant wait to find out
