Politics Convicted “Radical” Attorney Comes To Town

Posted by Scott Moore on Mon, Mar 5 at 4:15 PM

Tomorrow night, “radical” attorney Lynne Stewart, who was accused and convicted of helping “Blind” Sheikh Omar Abdel-Rahman pass notes to his cohorts in Egypt, will be appearing in town at PSU to talk about her “fight for justice in Patriot Act America.”

Stewart’s offense, for which she was sentenced to 28 months, apparently came down to releasing a statement from the sheikh to Reuters. In the statement, Abdel-Rahman questioned support for a cease-fire between his followers and the Egyptian government.

You can read more at her website.
