They're closing? LAME!

You know, this is how rumors get started. I've HEARD they are closing (from... a bartender? Maybe the same Maiden in the Mist bartender? I'm not sure. I drink too much). Can't find any mention of it on the internets, though, save this one: http://the-gastronaut.blogspot.com/2007/03/la-villa.html which isn't too informative.

If La Villa closes my rage and sorrow will know no limits.

La Villa is closing, unfortunately. I got a call from owner Mary Awsom (sp?) yesterday stating that they have sold the business. Possibly to the owners of Blue Hour. I am deeply saddened that my diet will now suffer a moussaka deficiency.

RIP La Villa. You were loved.

So sad, their baba ganoush was THE best!
Now I guess I'll have to go to Nicolas' (overrated) ho hum.

Tried to go to La Villa last night, and it was shut down with a note on the door. R.I.P.

My heart now knows of infinite sadness. The tastiest baba ganoush and the most wonderful falafel sandwhiches, gone. Forever.
