Gossip Did Monica Lewinsky Move to Portland?

Posted by Wm. Steven Humphrey on Mon, Apr 30 at 2:06 PM

GOSSIP ALERT! According to some snoopy Mercury spies, Monica Lewinsky is Portland’s newest celebrity resident. Lewinsky was a Lewis & Clark graduate way back in 1995, before her infamous leap into the national spotlight. She was spotted this weekend stepping into an elevator in one of the more posh Pearl District condos, and according to our spy, “That was definitely her. You can bet the mortgage on it!” Later another witness also ran into her at the condo, and when asked point blank if she was indeed Monica, she answered in the affirmative. Still waiting on further confirmation, so don’t poop your pants—just keep your eyes open, and let us know about any future sightings!

Should we call all the dry cleaners in town to see if they've gotten in any stained blue dresses recently?

Is that a totally hackneyed joke or what? Oh well.

I'm just happy you got it out of the way. I remember seeing Monica perform a one-woman show in which she recounts the whole scandal and it was pretty cool.

Just be sure to find out her position on Charter revision.

Lewinsky for mayor!

I'm voting no on all four measures. Not because I understand them, just because there's a post here about Monica Lewinsky.

She should team-up with Ricky Lake and Jon Waters for a Thelma and Louise re-make... Wow!

Gotta go now.

"Just be sure to find out her position on Charter revision."

Supine, or on bended knee, I suppose...!

and as long as I've forever tarnished the thread with that comment, did you hear the British press were asking Paul McCartney about his love life? They asked Sir Paul if he'd be going down on one knee ever again, and he got all indignant, saying "Whatever our differences during this difficult time, I must insist you call her Heather."

boooooo.....

A mature and responsible journalistic call to Rich's Cigar Store asking if she's been in, yielded the following response: "Not that I know of. No-one else knows either."

Fear not, we'll check back with them tomorrow. And the next day. And the next day. And the next...

In the immortal words of Ice Cube, "Are we done yet?"

Mmmmmmmm....no....?

Maybe I can get her to come in and sign the copies of Monica's Story that we have in stock:

Awesome.

Latest sighting - Monday night outside "The Gregory." Maybe it's true.

She posted a craigslist personals ad for sex last night. I went over to her posh condo. Which was furnished with terrible handbags, a blue dress on the wall above the fireplace and the nicest cigar humidifier i've ever seen. Terrible taste, that woman! She did mention Bill stopped by on his recent Portland visit.

Ok, so maybe I made some(all) of that up. Sue me.

i saw her sitting in le pigeon or something. somewhere right in that neighborhood. well anyhow, I saw her and thought "hm. that's that lady." I kept riding my bike.

If I could get her to my house, I bet I could woo her into my arms. I've the Time magazine "My Story" issue, from 1999, sitting on my entrance table, as well as the New Yorker with her looking like the Mona Lisa.
Back then I thought it was important to keep things like that... who could have foreseen we'd ever be living in the same city?

I'm chubby, have silvering hair, married, and president (of my own admiration society). I think I might just stroll down to the Pearl for a little action this evening....

Ms. Lewinsky was friends with my 1992 girlfriend at Lewis and Clark; she's actually a pretty normal person.
I know all of this is in good fun and all, but belittling a girl or implying that she's a slut just because she once gave someone a hummer MIGHT make it harder for you to get one next time.
Blowjobs are awesome. We should encourage them, not stigmatize them.

You mean your friend knew Ms. Lewinsky when she was at Lewis & Clark around the time she was babysitting for AND sleeping with one of her professors there! Apparently you don't remember the news conference that Professor and his poor wife had on their front lawn when the whole Clinton scandal broke. I'd call that a pattern folks!!! If it walks like a duck...

I had coffee with her at Boyd's. Or someone who looked like her. I thought, damn, that looks like That girl, but I couldn't remember her name, and I figured, no way.

We talked about Ospreys and I invited her to check them out with me because I was riding to a nesting site, but she said she had to see her friend and thanks anyway...

Ladies and Gentlemen Monica has left the Pearl and the City of Roses. Nothing more to see here, so move along.
