Briefly:

The US House of Representatives approved a timetable for withdrawing troops from Iraq. Next stop, the Senate.

Sen. Barack Obama’s catching up to Sen. Hillary Clinton in the presidential polls.

India wants to arrest Richard Gere for kissing a Bollywood star.

New Hampshire about to approve civil unions.

Charter review committee “more than a little insulted by opponents’ contention that the mayor didn’t seek enough public input before putting a proposed change in Portland’s form of government onto the ballot.”

We will all be saying 'Bush who' very soon folks. Here is my praise for Obama. The only real candidate running. An Obama/Richardson ticket WILL be amazing leaders.

BTW, the Democrats have a televised debate tonight: MSNBC @ 4pm. Watch Hilary scowl and say 'Bill' 40 times while Obama talks the real talk.

Is a "bollywood" a small, furry animal?

Yeesh. More than a little insulted? I doubt the CRC is more insulted than I am, what with the fast-tracking to an off-year election, the pushing of emotional hot buttons, the lies, and the hypocrisy.

The only real insult in the Charter "debate" has been Team Potter itself.
