It took me some time, but now I have seen the light. Electrelane’s No Shouts, No Calls is easily the best record I have heard this year. We’re writing about them next week, but since they are opening for some band that is sort of popular, the show is way sold out. How sad.
Will this make it better?
Electrelane - To The East
I think the Doug Fir show got canceled, because, well, something better came along....
And yes, this is by far the best record to come out this year, and I'd venture so far as to say that nothing is going to touch its greatness.
GODDAMMIT! I was really looking forward to seeing them.
Looks like you're going to have to buy some Arcade Fire tickets off Craigslist, then.
awesome tune! I also saw them at berbati's but it wasn't very memorable. Think I'll give them another shot after hearing this.
I definitely agree! One of the best record of this year. And they are so great live too.
I heard that they opened up the balcony seating area, and there might be some seats still available. I'm looking forward to seeing them at Sasquatch.
this may have been true until the new Elliot Smith came out...
this is better than that elliot smith record.
i didn't even particularly like them before this record.

Such a great band. I've only seen them once--at Berbati's--and something seemed really off about the whole show, but they were still pretty great.
Aren't they playing at Doug Fir the day after the Arcade Fire show? Is that one sold out too?
