I can’t say enough good things about First Friday Family Suppers at Juniors Cafe. The all-vegan meals are served family style, sort of like those Olive Garden commercials were everyone is laughing and stuffing their faces with never-ending breadsticks.

Ok, maybe not like that.

Anyway, the meals are absolutely fantastic, and will please the palette of both leaf-eaters and carnivores alike. This event is one of the cute little eccentric things that makes Portland such a great place to call home. Plus it’s a pretty good date spot, much better than your original dinner idea. The four courses of fancy food, including dessert, are $25 per person, which does not include booze or gratuity.

To reserve your spot for this Friday’s meal, which you need to do, email Juniors.
