News Good Morning, News!

Posted by Amy J. Ruiz on Mon, May 21 at 8:10 AM

First, breaking news from Beaverton on Sunday, courtesy of an eagle-eyed reader:

I had a Monica sighting today: She was shopping in the mens section at Target on Canyon Rd. in Beaverton. She caught me staring at her and had a look on her face like “yeah, it’s me.”

When I went to the parking lot I saw the bumper sticker “No one died when Clinton lied” and I immediately wondered if it was her car.

Elsewhere, Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez is predicted to resign later this week before a no confidence vote takes place.

Lebanese soldiers and Islamic militants clash in Tripoli, killing at least 70 so far.

Researchers say veterans in prison are more likely to be sex offenders than non-vets in prison. But they can’t figure out why.

Former President Jimmy Carter calls Bush administration “worst in history,” then backpedels and calls Bush “careless.”

Hang in there, Portland. It’s supposed to be sunny tomorrow.
