News Accused Graffiti Vandals: Covered In Paint

Posted by Matt Davis on Thu, May 17 at 2:10 PM

The Police Bureau has released its mugshots of Timothy Trengove and Ross Mathena, the two men arrested last night and accused of drawing anarchist symbols on cars in SE Portland. Appropriately, the two men appear to have paint even on their faces. graffitivandals.jpg

Were they cited and released, or held? Seems like every time I have to go to jail they at least have the decency to give me a shower before taking the mugshot.

It looks like a felony which means they were probably held.

Looks like they huffed as much as they sprayed.

Which of course is unfounded speculation and in no way reflects the editorial stance of the paper. [checks to see if lawyers for the men have called yet, breathes moderate sigh of relief].

Err...these are the "anarchist" spraypainters? They look a bit old for disaffected 16 year olds.

Get a load of these 2 geniuses. May they find all the love in the pokey they've got comin' to 'em.

The cops have arrested two more suspects:

"All have been charged with one count each of Criminal Mischief in the first degree and lodged into Multnomah County Detention Center.

Apparently they did paint themselves up with paint during the course of their crimes. Police did not alter their look in any way prior to their booking photos."

Nothing better than a good hit of Krylon after a couple of Budweisers....
