While I’m not nuts on the new material from Johnette Napolitano, the former singer of Concrete Blonde, I am crazy about the Pump Up The Volume Soundtrack. In addition to Peter Murphy, Bad Brains and Sonic Youth, the “Hard Harry” approved soundtrack had a great Leonard Cohen cover, courtesy of Napolitano and Concrete Blonde.

Here is the band performing the song live in Brazil.
Concrete Blonde - Everybody Knows

Johnette Napolitano performs tonight at Berbati’s Pan.

were you the one who called the new bright eyes album the best of 2007 on the mercury homepage?

Dang it! I agree with Ezra on this one. Must be a full moon.
