Sports Kobe a Blazer?

Since this news just broke, and the Trail Blazers are one of the few few teams that have something The Lakers want (the #1 pick), what do you think about the possibility of Kobe Bryant coming to Portland?

Comments

Not that I'm a long-time Blazer's fan or anything, but I'd have to think that even though he's the best player in basketball, it would be a disappointment to a lot of fans to surrender that first pick. Having won the lottery was, in and of itself, almost as important as the actual player to be drafted.

But then again, its Kobe.

Oh my God, please no. I don't think the Blazers are that dumb.

anyone who wants kobe bryant on the blazers is a jerk.

No. No. No.

I vote for Kobe

eff him and eff that. Blazers finally have youth, talent, and hope, no need to bring ol'Ballhog McRapey in here to take 40 shots a game...

I wish that I cared about basketball so that I could watch it and refer to Kobe as ol' Ballhog McRapey.

What Donnie said, but with "fuck" subbed for "eff".

Fuck no.

What has Kobe ever won without Shaq -- I mean, besides having rape charges dropped?

Yeah, no way. He's his own sideshow. We would never do it.

Even though Kobe no longer says he wants to be traded, why would Portland want to trade a future franchise center for a guy who is known as a clutch shooter and yet, over his career, has shot barely over 20% in the last 24 seconds of play?

Lewis to P-town I'd believe, Conley Jr. being drafter I sort of might be able to see if I squint, but Kobe? I just hope we draft Aaron Brooks at some point in the second round after he tears it up in predraft. I love that guy.

I can't believe you asked the question, unless you're looking for a spasm of outrage.

Kobe is a loser. Plain and simple.

Selfish scorer = loser.

YOU KIDDING ME OF COURSE ID TAKE HIM I LIVE IN EUGENE ORE ABOUT AN 1HR AWAY FROM P-TOWN AND IM SURE THE PEOPLE UP THERE WOULD LOVE THE IDEA OF HAVING KOBE SO AS LONG AS THEY RETIRE HIM AS A BLAZER NOT A 2 OR 3 YEAR TEMP PLAYER LIKE THAT OLD TIMER PIPPIN THAT STOPED IN PORTLAND IT WILL DEFINATELY BRING ASS'S IN THE SEATS I DONT CARE IF I HAVE TO GIVE UP ODEN AND ONE OTHER PLAYER OR TWO IN EXCHANGE FOR BRYANT THE LAKERS WOULD BE DUMB NOT TO MAKE THAT HAPPEN COME ON YOU ARE STARTING FRESH WITH THE LACK OF TALENT YOU HAVE ON THE LAKERS IF PORTLAND WERE TO DO THAT DEAL YOU MIGHT BE SACRIFICING THE FUTURE CAUSE ODEN COULD BE ONE OF THE BEST 7FOOT CENTERS TO PLAY OR HE COULD BE LIKE POORMAN'S TIM DUNCUN DO IT BLAZERS!!

Holy shit jitesh, Ever heard of punctuation? And CAPS mean you're SCREAMING.
