It’s the new Transformers trailer… now with 50% more transformin’! (I keep waiting for my iPod to transform into a 30-foot hulking robot.)

Do the transformers speak in this movie?
From that preview, it doesn't seem like it, and that would suck.

They do talk. I think they're hiding that in the previews 'cause people who don't know how awesome talking giant robots are would think it was cheesy. But yeah, they do--they even got Peter Cullen, the dude who voiced Optimus Prime in the '80s cartoon, to do the voice for Optimus Prime in this movie. I can honestly see this movie going either way, but shit, that trailer inspires a lot of confidence. I just want to see giant robots fighting and smashing shit and jumping around, and it looks like that will definitely be in the movie. Excellent.
