Film First Pic From Indiana Jones IV.

Posted by Erik Henriksen on Fri, Jun 22 at 11:25 AM

This just landed in my inbox, courtesy of Lucasfilm. Yep, not that exciting. But I have a hunch this movie’s going to kick all sorts of ass. (Then again, I’ve been waiting for this movie since I was nine, so maybe I’m just really, really hoping it’ll kick all sorts of ass.)

THE MAN WITH THE HAT IS BACK: For the first time since 1989, Harrison Ford dons the familiar costume on Thursday, June 21, 2007, as the upcoming “Indiana Jones” adventure begins production under the direction of Steven Spielberg. The new “Indiana Jones” movie is set in the 1950s and stars Shia LaBeouf, Cate Blanchett, John Hurt, Ray Winstone and Jim Broadbent . The Lucasfilm Ltd. production will be released by Paramount Pictures worldwide on May 22, 2008. Photo by Steven Spielberg. Courtesy Lucasfilm Ltd.

YESS!!

YESS!!

hey, i'm ben.

and i only post once dammit!

Ben, I think that makes you a plagiarist.

He looks good! Not as old and with earrings as I expected.

But still, I remember when I, like Erik, was nine, and everyone wanted to know what was coming after Last Crusade. And Harrison told everyone no more! He's too old. I thought it made sense at the time, because he really was getting up there. But now it's 18 years later, and I just have trouble accepting that the statute of limitations and stuff is not over times five. Plus I worry that the script is going to suck. And I'm basing that on the fact that Harrison and Steven kept rejecting all the scripts for this movie, because they were all lousy. I'm guessing, in the end, twelve people wrote this movie. But I don't really know.

Not completely un-badass; he's got blood on his knee!

Yep, the film will rock! And that's why we're making a documentary about the build up to its release. If you're an Indy fan, then we want to hear about it! We want to know why.

Visit our website at www.myspace.com/indyfans and let us know all about yourself. Send in a video of yourself explaining why you love Indiana Jones. The documentary is expected to be released next summer!!
