News Good Morning, News!

Posted by Amy J. Ruiz on Mon, Jun 18 at 7:09 AM

My, what a busy weekend!

Local drywallers’ strike over?

Drag racing car crashes into crowd, kills six.

Protests at Tacoma, WA’s federal detention center this weekend, following Portland’s immigration raid.

Duke rape case prosecutor Mike Nifong disbarred.

Mitt Romney pulling ahead of other Republican presidential candidates.

Pride 2007 = “A lot of titties everywhere;” “A lot less political than we thought it would be.” Some Portland girls document the weekend… but we can’t see it because the YouTube video is blocked! See comments for more details.

Amy: that video is friends only. Any chance you could get them to make it available to the public? I am very interested in hearing what they have to say. Being a pride marcher and all.

I didn't see a lot of titties...This year was light on 'em, actually. In past years, it was a constant boob-fest, but I am sure the weather dissuaded folks from baring their chests.

Hmmm. It wasn't friends only this morning! I sent the gal a message, asking her to unblock it.

***Edit. She replied: "yikes! Can you take it down? My bosses would KILL me. I'm way too drunk at the end."

So I took it down. We couldn't watch it anyway.

That car killed 7. "Cars for Kids" parade...yeesh.
