Food Waffles and Beer and Art, Oh My

Posted by Marjorie Skinner on Wed, Jun 13 at 2:47 PM

Next time you have a serious craving for carbs, this might be just the thing: Jace Gace just opened up at 2045 SE Belmont, specializing in waffles, beer, and art. (The first artist/tattooist currently showing in the gallery is Cheyenne Sawyer.) We’ll be sure to get down there soon and let you know how it is, but if anyone’s already been, we’d love to know what you think.

This place is soooo good!

I sat on a beautiful patio, looked a great artwork and had a savory waffle!

A savory waffle!? It was a modern girls dream of a grilled cheese. Corn meal waffle, 2 types of cheeses, tomatoes and a creamy dill sauce...wha????

what could make it better, a ice cold brew on the side...

CHECK THIS PLACE OUT, you'll get addicted

i went to their art opening the other night and it ripped! they were handing out free samples of the tastiest waffles! i threw down a waffle with granola, fruit, and whipped cream and then snuck another one with asparagus and curry sauce. i'll be back!

I stumbled upon the place last week and it was poppin'! Its a super clean, multifaceted space and the waffle samples I tried were dope. The gallery was really lofty and the overall design of the space was really unique. I can't wait to see some artists cycle through the space. Cheyenne Sawyer's work is definitely worth a visit.
