TV Best Firefly Night at the Mission Yet.

Posted by Erik Henriksen on Tue, Jul 31 at 9:15 AM

So Firefly has been screening at the Mission for a few weeks now, but tonight is extra rad, because the two episodes that’re showing are some of my favorites: “Our Mrs. Reynolds” and “Jaynestown.” It’s free, and there’s beer, and there are two great episodes of a kickass TV show. WHAT ELSE YOU COULD POSSIBLY ASK FOR I DO NOT KNOW.

Mission Theater, 1624 NW Glisan, 10 pm. FREE. More info here.

PLEASE STOP PROMOTING THIS!

I got there at 8:45 last week and there was STILL a line!

It's already popular enough, thankyouverymuch!

Sheesh.

Jaynestown seriously has to be the best episode...makes me giggle just thinking about it...

WHAT ELSE YOU COULD POSSIBLY ASK FOR I DO NOT KNOW.

How about the fact that the awesomeness that is Dark Horse came up with some trivia question swag -- including the not-yet-released Serenity PVC set?

How about a guitarist who can get the songs right?

Did you happen to notice that said guitarist had the right lyrics to The Hero of Canton, when the handouts did not?

No, you probably didn't.

No, I didn't actually take too hard a look at the handout.

Lyrics aside, his inflection was way off, and it is the inflection that makes Hero Of Canton work.
