Film Clip from the New Todd Haynes Movie

Posted by Wm. Steven Humphrey on Tue, Jul 17 at 9:24 AM

This is pretty freaking awesome. Check out this leaked clip from Portland’s own Todd Haynes who is finishing up I’m Not There—a new biopic about Bob Dylan that casts SIX different actors in the main role, including Heath Ledger, Richard Gere and in this scene Cate Blanchett as Dylan. Here the poet rocker meets another ’60s legend/poet, Allen Ginsberg (nicely played by David Cross). I’m Not There opens September 21, and if this clip is any indication, it’s going to be some heady, riveting stuff.

Tip o’ the hat to Spinner!

he looks more like joe preston than allen ginsberg

I'm not much of a Dylan fan, but that looks pretty cool.

um, BORING! this is the same dude that made poison and safe? looks like haynes finally became "cool" enough to make a dull porn film for all things dylan.
