In an exhausting double-header on Sunday, the Mercury Softball Team once again emerged victorious taking down the Matador (22-4) and a greatly improved and surprisingly tough Slabtown (11-7). Speaking of Slabtown, our own podcasting genius Matt Slesser plays for their team, and is a fantastic hitter. However, on Sunday when he stepped up to the plate, Mercury pitcher Wm. Steven Humphrey had a little surprise waiting for him. Here is the pitch I threw:
