News Oregonian Takes Up Cop Flier Story

Posted by Matt Davis on Thu, Jul 12 at 2:50 PM

The Oregonian this morning took up the Mercury’s story of Richard Prentice—the 33 year-old senior at Portland State allegedly arrested and intimidated in a holding cell for putting up anti-cop posters downtown. It’s good to see the Oregonian taking an interest in this important story.

I also saw this story on channel 12 news today. But they showed the flier of the gun pointing at the cop's head while stating that it was what he was posting when he was arrested. They didn't mention that that version of his flyer was in his backpack.

You mean the TV news misrepresented the truth? Well I never...
