Demo, it should read: My dad is greater THAN your dad. Than: (used, as after comparative adjectives and adverbs, to introduce the second member of an unequal comparison): She's taller than I am.
THEN is an adjective implying a sequence of events. As in My dad was great, then your dad hit him with his car while high on meth.
