This is actually from a few days ago, but it was diverted to my spam folder—because it is that crazy. It’s a Fish Head Statue Thing!
Hey Merc PDX People of Today People,This thing is on 27th, just down from Thurman in the Northwest. I’m sure it’s just me who doesn’t know what it is, but, what is it? Do you know? What is it in honor of? Should it be banned? Can you please assist?

There are two detail photos after the cut.

It resembles the Gorn from Star Trek
it's not horrible like that piece of crap "Baobab" wrapped in Saran Wrap on the corner of NE Alberta & 18th Ave. (which has been wrapped in plastic longer than not!) The Mercury could do a story on Portland's Shittiest Public Art (but it might have to be a double issue.)
I, for one, welcome our new militant fish overlords.
Oh, it's just a figment of your imagination. Quit smokin' the pot and get a job!

That's Admiral Ackbar. By the way, can we name a street after him?
