Hallelujah! “[Karl] Rove, one of the most influential Washington players in decades, announced his resignation on Monday on the conservative editorial pages of the Wall Street Journal, after six-and-a-half years at the epicenter of Bush’s stormy presidency.”

A ninth body is found in the Minneapolis bridge wreckage, 11 days after it collapsed. Four are still missing. But don’t worry! They already have a new bridge designed.

Seattle shuts down most lanes of I-5 for massive road work, and officials predict chaos. Surprise! Drivers cope, take transit, avert disaster.

Starbucks is so easy to rob, you don’t even need a weapon!

Some folks take their jobs very seriously: “The head of a Chinese company implicated in a massive U.S. toy recall has committed suicide, state media reported today, the latest casualty of China’s widening food and product safety scandals.”
