Film Harold and Kumar Go to Amsterdam Trailer.

Posted by Erik Henriksen on Wed, Aug 22 at 7:10 AM

So nobody wants to say they liked Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle. You usually have to get them to have a few drinks before they admit it was funny, at which point the conversation usually sidetracks to Doogie Howser. But eventually, everyone admits it: Yes, they’ve seen Harold and Kumar, and no, they aren’t necessarily proud of this fact, but yes, okay, they actually kinda liked it, especially that part with the cheetah. I suspect the same thing will happen with the sequel.

Thanks to Film Drunk for the heads up.

Not to mention one of the best come-back performances by Neil Patrick Harris. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he'll show up in the sequel.

I LIKED THE MOVIE. It was funny and silly - not a masterpiece, but entertaining.

I've never had to be drunk to tell people I like H&KGTWC. What a great movie. This sequel looks ok, but they may be trying too hard. The beauty of the first was, they were just trying to get to White Castle.

Kai, If you'd looked at the trailer, you would have clearly seen Neil Patrick Harris in all his gay glory. I guess you can uncross those fingers now.

I sincerely think 'Harold and Kumar' is the most brilliant and funny comedy since 'The Philadelphia Story'. The best art always has a trace of the obscene. I can't wait for this.

"I'll give you a hint: it's semen. ANIMAL semen."

I'll gladly admit it. But my love of teen sex comedies goes back pretty far: Porky's, Springbreak, Revenge of the Nerds, Animal House. Hell, throw Meatballs and Real Genius in there, too. Philadelphia Story? No. But I do own both it and Revenge of the Nerds and American Pie and Wedding Crashers and Harold and Kumar and a bunch of other fun romps. Certainly no worse than a Bing and Bob road movie -- which I own all of.

Agreed on the above.

Now: Any love for Dude, Where's My Car? 'Cause I've got some love for Dude, Where's My Car?
