Although Victoria’s Immaculate Machine doesn’t roll through town until next month (September 6th at the Doug Fir, to be exact), I’m giddy to finally experience the live version of the fantastic pop songs on their latest record, Fables. The sticker on the packaging that name drops both The Rentals and Mates of State pretty much says it all.

i like it. very adventurous sounding.

the name drop was surely franz ferdinand, the cribs and owen pallet...the rentals and mate of state don't have anything to do with this album
