The war in Iraq is “largely about oil,” says—Alan Greenspan, former chairman of the Federal Reserve. The self-described libertarian Republican also “skewered President George W. Bush and congressional Republicans for what he said was reckless spending and a politically driven economic agenda and said they deserved to lose control of Congress in 2006.”

Bush is slated to announce his pick for Attorney General: Michael Mukasey, a retired federal judge who spent a decade presiding over terrorism cases.

“30 Rock” and “The Sopranos” took home Best Comedy and Best Drama, respectively, at last night’s Emmy awards.
