News Good Morning, News

Ding, ding ding! Corey Flintoff at NPR finally figures out Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. His inflammatory statements aren’t meant for international consumption, but to shore up his fragile power base in Iran. American leaders’ knee jerk condemnations of him? Exactly what he’s hoping for. Yeah, he’s still a dick and a madman, but so is our president.

It’s number four for Keifer Sutherland!

Larry Craig’s attempt to have his guilty plea thrown out will be heard today by a judge in Minneapolis today. Good luck with that, Larry.

Rudy Giuliani—imbecile, or political genius? His campaign effort to get supporters to donate $9.11 has drawn anger from the international firefighters association—and every other sensible person on the planet—but, shudder, middle America just might eat this crap up.

Oh please please please, wise old man in the sky, let Republican presidential candidates embrace George W. Bush on the campaign trail.

An apparent bomb, taped to a employee by gunmen, was used to rob a bank in Hollywood, Florida.

Is the old Linnton Plywood Mill site headed for the dump?

Bush has been doing that like forever. Unfortunately Bush's inflammatory statements to shore up his fragile power base in the US have been inflaming "the bad guys" all over the world (the good guys and girls too).

That is hurting us all.

That's why the presidential candidates still parroting the old jingo is outrageous.
