TV Support the Rabid

Posted by Wm. Steven Humphrey on Fri, Sep 28 at 4:06 PM

Who caught last night’s season premiere of The Office? Here’s a funny scene in which Michael forces the employees to participate in a 5K “Fun Run” to benefit the hospitalized Meredith who was diagnosed with rabies… but was actually hit by a car… driven by Michael. Fave line: “He’s not happy, he’s INSANE.”

BTW, the big argument on the interweb today goes like this, “Is NBC slowly killing The Office by forcing them to do one-hour episodes?” Discuss.

Hour long episodes stretch the jokes too thin. 30 minutes is perfect for the office.

Wow! this show is has begun to die. Notice how the entire cast seems to just sort of phone it in? That and the glances into the camera, once as self conscious as real people would be, has now denigrated to snarky Jimmy Fallon-esque in-joke grins. Yuck.

Yeah, I remember liking the third season, but I didn't like that episode. Get back to 30 minutes so there's room for 30 Rock, please!

I thought last night's episode was great...

We are only doing the first 4 episodes as one hour, we then go to 30 min.

Long live Michael.

The season premiere was basically two half hour episodes... you guys are on about nothing.
