The following post proves that real life is always better than parody:
According to the press release I just got from a certain small mom-n-pop radio company, T-Man is coming to Portland!
Who is T-Man, you ask? Well, his site states that the T-Man “has an opinion on everything and it’s a strong one. He questions authority. Actually, he has no regard for it.”
Ha, take that authority! Up yours!!
And according to Brian Bridgman, Z100 Program Director, “We felt it was time to make some serious noise and set things a little edgier in the mornings – you definitely get that with T-Man.”
T-Man and the rest of the self-described “Dysfunctional Family” (this includes such wacky characters as Vinnie The Poo and Pasty Dave) started their assault on the radio this morning at 6am.
I can’t wait for the Friday Morning Fart Song!
yeah, this dude is the star of kube 93's morning line up. my friend in olympia has it as his alarm clock message because it's the only thing that will piss him off enough to wake up.
That is the same exact reason I have 95.5's "The Playhouse" on my alarm clock. Sleeping-in is not an option when that is the first thing you hear when you wake up.
Man, listening to the Playhouse is unbearable. WATCHING them on comcast is even worse. That PK guy seems like the type who spent his childhood playing on-air DJ with his teddy bears, taking it way too seriously... douchebag.
I weep for the children
Now I remember why I quit listening to Z-100 years ago.
I somehow sensed they were just sitting there, waiting to suck.
Welcome to the basement, and an apt demonstration of why Portland ain't a great radio town anymore.
why don't they just bite the bullet and sydicate Opie and Anthony here. They are the only show on the radio that isn't Tank, Hack and a Hole.
Raaaaaamooone, get me to Portland stat.

I listened today...horrible, as expected.
