Anyone who was there knows that the unicorn and the yo-yo master were the real winners.
Yes, the unicorn was robbed. My main observation of the night was.... That naked guy that was really really full of himself with the red boa guitar should probably try to cover his penis with something other then a baby sock. Did he think his small penis was going to win him the grand prize?
Could you please get some non-conventional judges who don't fall for acts we've seen 10.000 times before????? The unicorn act and the rocker dressed in black were original acts you don't see every day. Get some new judges for next year, dammit!!!
Word.
My picks: first place to the acrobat troupe, second to the unicorn (god, that was awesome), third to the breakdancers or to the gay act I vaguely remember being cool. God, I was drunk.
Oh yeah, and the yoyo guy was so cool. I want him to be my grandpa.
Though heresy it may be, I didn't think the unicorn act was that great. It was funny, but the accordians could have been better, so the talent side of the act was lacking for me. Great show, though!
i found the entire show a laff riot. but i agree with the majority here: the unicorn got the shaft, and grampa was faboolous.
from my perspective the acrobats ruled, the ass cheeks scared the hell out of me, the breakdancers were cool but shouldn't have won, and the bass player guy for some reason was too effing funny (and crazy). and of course, yo you gdaddy was a show stealer.
Those breakers had some good uprock, AND they busted out Can's "Vitamin C"...
They get some points for that for sure.
Yeah, general consensus is that the unicorn/accordion act got the shaft. If they had been 3rd to last instead of 1st, would we be having this conversation? Sequencing is key - and not easy, either, because you can't frontload all of the marginal acts.
Great fun though. I look forward to it already.
The bass playing dude is the only one I really want to see again.
It was a huge honor for me to be a part of Pizzazz! this year. I was in it for fun, not money. Kristin from the unicorn/accordian act said the same thing. She was one of many ridiculously friendly, exciting people that I got to meet by being involved with this thing. I felt a connection with the Pizzazz! audience, and that was very exciting. W.S. Humphreys was hilarious, and he was really cool to all of us backstage. THANK YOU to the judges at the audition (who were not the judges at the show) who got me into this thing - you rock and rule!
