Artsy Rip City Gingerblaze 2007

Can you make a mean gingerbread house? Then have I got the contest for you: PNCA is hosting the Rip City Gingerblaze 2007, a gingerbread house competition open to the entire city. Entries, which must be (or appear to be) entirely edible, will be judged on their creativity and construction, and will be part of an exhibit at the school through December, with an opening party and judging on December 6. So far, they’re anticipating a Rice Krispy treat high top, a candy viking ship, and a gingerbread Godzilla, so it’s safe to say you can think outside of the box here. The registration deadline is one week from today, though, so jump on it and email gingerblaze@pnca.edu. And lest you think this is some half ass operation, behold one of last year’s entries, made from pixie stix:
