I saw this in the Spring. I remember it was sad, so sad...because the filmmaker had such gold, and he turned it into shit.

The trailer is scatterbrained and does not represent the movie well. The movie itself is actually very good. The first 15 minutes or so I wasn't sure the combination of just Kurt's voice mixed with their visuals would work, but ultimately it did, and by the end my eyes were all watery. Anyone who feels otherwise maybe just never gave it a chance. -Kenric

I saw it last night and I totally loved it. Very intense and beautiful. Definitely not your typical rock doc.

What do you do with an icon? Like Todd Haynes upcoming Dylan biopic--you really have to use finesse and creativity when treating something so personal to so many people. I think this film has a shot. The moody Northwest ambiance combined with Kurt's voice chilled me when I watched the trailer. I'm hoping for the best.
