Remember how everyone was saying that the choreography and dress rehearsals were so great for Britney’s now famously botched performance at MTV’s Video Music Awards? NOW WE CAN SEE THE TRUTH FOR OURSELVES. Check out this dress rehearsal for the number, with a hotsy-totsy redhead standing in for Britney (who I believe was slurping down margaritas in her hotel room at the time). Please also note the impressive lift at the end (that Britney was feeling a bit too tubby to do).
