Music New Music from Chris Walla

All hail to Portland’s own Chris Walla—Death Cab for Cutie member and producer for such fine bands as The Decemberists. The Velvet Teen and Tegan & Sara—who has finished his new solo CD, entitled Field Manual, on which he plays practically every instrument. Though its official release isn’t until January, check out this goddamn ADORABLE single called “Sing Again.” The song is filled with so much poppy helium, it practically floats.

That song sucked. Perhaps the reason Gibbard keeps him keep his mouth shut in Death Cab.

Further than that, didn't he just move here? A recent transplant can't be considered "Portlands Own" until at least a year of residence. Isn't that the rule?
