TV “Real Guitars are for Old People!”

Posted by Wm. Steven Humphrey on Thu, Nov 15 at 2:05 PM

I love me some GUITAR HERO—the video game where you use a fake guitar to fake rock out to real rock songs—however, I was never able to put into words WHY Guitar Hero is so superior to learning an actual instrument
Until this hilarious clip from South Park came along. Poor, retarded dad.

What is this?

I'm so tired of your posts that are nothing but the top Digg of the day.... 4 days late.

See z1z, you don't quite get it. If I didn't post things four days late, then you wouldn't have a place to leave your asshole comments. Then you'd have to sit in your basement in front of the computer all day looking for other blogs where you can spew your self-righteous venom. Then you'd NEVER find a girlfriend. At least I'm giving you a fighting chance. So… instead of being a dick, this is where you say, "Thank you."

Humphrey 1, dickwad zip.

I loved this clip. As someone new to the world of Guitar Hero I must admit I was skeptical at first. My friend explained how to play and then showed me a song… I thought it was the worst game ever until my fingers danced across the plastic fret board to the sweet melody of Welcome to the Jungle! As the night progressed and the beer bottles began to stack up, I’m not ashamed to say I threw in a few leg kicks here and there just because it felt right.

Oh, ok,
thank you for posting things that 90% of your readers have already seen 4 days before on Digg.

Sorry, my dickness will not be abated. Ask my girlfriend.

I didn't see it. Dick.

Me neither. I guess I was too busy tapping z1z's girlfriend. That's what happens when you're too busy being the "first" to watch internet cartoons.
