Portland Today in PDX, Virtual Edition

Posted by Amy J. Ruiz on Mon, Nov 26 at 6:32 PM

From someone calling themselves “Special Agent,” an attack on Jack Bogdanski, author of bojack.org:

Subject: tired of bojack’s whining?

Give him something to whine about in response to his privacy concerns:

http://bojackshouse.blogspot.com/

If he complains, he’s a hypocrite; he put Eric Sten’s house in the spotlight.

I’m guessing he’ll complain, nonetheless.

UPDATE: Jack has posted on his blog in response to the “bojackshouse” blog—”…the Pabst-sodden slacker set is hassling me. Whatever.”—and he expounds on his beef with the city now including property owners’ names on Portland Maps. Why isn’t the mainstream media doing a story on this perceived outrage? Perhaps because the media thinks that basic public access to public records, such as these, is a non-story. The records were always available with a phone call, or a trip to the county building (or by paying about $150 and then a per-search fee). But instead of maintaining a fake barrier to info that’s readily accessible in many other jurisdictions, the city (and Multnomah County) rightly improved public access, in a small but good way.

A new level of turditude, Amy. You must be giving up on an actual career in real journalism.

Indeed, someone turning the tables on (or simply lashing out at) a prominent local blogger is something I should have swept under the rug—I know how much you respect media outlets that decide some things shouldn't be reported.

Hey, that's just like "turpitude," but with the word "turd" where a command for the English language would go!

It's no wonder he despises anyone who would like to live in an affordable condo in inner Portland. He already has his wealthy lifestyle perfectly set up, so everyone else should flee Portland as quickly as possible. Why does anyone listen to this worthless curmudgeon anyway? He's pathetic.

Oh dear, two of my favorite blogs are feuding again. It's like watching two friends fight, except I don't actually have any friends. Well, there is my Chinchilla, but she's rather standoffish. Maybe it's more like watching your children fight. Don't worry, dears, I love you both equally!

Jack - reply, please. You have no response!

Is that the WWWWHHHAAAmbulance I hear headed to NE 23?

you kids get offa my lawn!!! the only thing I like is complaining and matlock!!!

Look, if you want to find some civic minded person (Judges, cops, newspaper reporters, bloggers, etc...) just go to the county elections division. If you give them a name they'll print out a copy of the persons voter registration card which has their home address and voter affiliation. It even works for renters.

Atleast Amy has yummy honkers! Wow!
