Politics Barack Barack Barack

Posted by Matt Davis on Fri, Dec 14 at 11:38 AM

Subtlety isn’t my strong point when it comes to who you should vote for, or at least, give money to, next year. Stuck for a Christmas present? Why not tell your partner “Sorry darling, I didn’t get you those shoes you wanted, but hey, I did manage to preserve this country’s future by donating the money instead to Barack Obama’s campaign.” I’m absolutely sure they’ll respond in the positive. barack.jpg
OBAMA: STILL HOT AT 46…ALSO, QUALIFIED FOR THE JOB OF, ER…STILL HOT!!!

If you’re still not sure this shoe/donation thing is a good idea, watch this video of people’s responses to the debate in Iowa. And donate!

Disclaimer: Matt Davis' undying adoration of Barack Obama should not be misconstrued as an endorsement by the Mercury Editorial board. That'll happen closer to our May 20 primary—it may not matter at that point, but that's when it'll happen.

(Meanwhile, give to John Edwards!)

John EDWARDS? The man runs hedge funds and talks about alleviating poverty.

Give me someone brave enough to admit cocaine use in their youth, any day.

Edwards over Obama.

But Obama over Clinton.

Yes, she's so ambitious!

Hi, I'm a Portland'er. John Edwards totally cares for poor and homele... ....

HEY!! I said NO WHIP on this drink BITCH!! Oh shit, someone just hit my convertible Saab! Fuck, guess i'll be driving the BMW instead. Man I love being green! Even my house in Lake Oswego is a green building - I have a single solar panel on my shed!!! Man we are so cool!!!

Dennis Kucinich, anyone? Hello?

Bet you all $10 each Obama wins.

Obama is old news, peeps. Kucinich is where it's at.
