Mercury Blogtown X-mas Party… with Ice Cube!

In just about 15 minutes, the Mercury office is taking off for our annual X-Mas party, so… SEE YA, SUCKERS!! (The sad fact is, most of our employees really despise these shindigs, primarily because I drink WAY too much malt liquor, and bad things invariably happen. VERY BAD THINGS. This year I’m drinking St. Ides Malt Liquor, because… well DUH! Ice Cube suggested it!)

On behalf of our Blogtown brethren, we hope to return tomorrow.

Ah, the sauce! Myself, I prefer malt vinegar. Or perhaps a malted milkshake. But regardless, that malt stuff is incredible.

Because Ice T says so..........
Yo, Yo, Yo my Portland homies, Last Saturday 12/8 I was in the Big Apple to see the Christmas tree at 30 Rock.
I parked my car near the Port Auth and walked about 4 blocks to 42 and 6th near Broadway. When about 4 of Ice T's
P.A's were shouting "Any one want to have their picture taken with Ice T"?
I did not see any takers as I was on a mission to find the perfect deli.
I had to settle for Lindys
Chicken salad sand on rye $18.95 side extra side of slaw 7.95 and coffee "bottomless cup" 4.95
Food sucked!!!!!!
I should have had my picture taken with the Ice Man, my guess better eats on the craft service table.
Oy Vey, how I long for the "OLD" Roses deli on NW 23 from the 1990's
