Fashion PFW Organizer to Receive “Spirit of Portland” Award

Posted by Marjorie Skinner on Fri, Dec 7 at 3:03 PM

I’m not sure exactly what a “Spirit of Portland” award really means, but it sure is a nice gesture, and Tito Chowdhury, one of the main men behind Portland Fashion Week is about to get one next Thursday, 12/13. I do know, having worked with him in an advisory capacity, that he has worked (and continues to work) damn hard on this event, and deserves recognition.

For a "sustainable" fashion week located a mile from the nearest form of viable public transportation? Please.

Congratulations to Tito for this well deserved award. To the person by the name of "apt 404" who posted a statement "For a sustainable fashion week located a mile from the nearest form of viable public transportation? Please." Let me tell you that you need to do a little bit of research before making ignorant statements. Let me tell you or educate you by saying that trimet bus # 85 or 72 can be used to get to the shipyard.
