News Good Morning, News!

Obama wins South Carolina, and snags endorsements from Caroline Kennedy, Ted Kennedy, and Toni Morrison.

Did Heath Ledger die of natural causes?

‘No Country for Old Men’ took top honors at the SAG awards.

Bush’s last State of the Union speech is tonight: “Beneath Bush’s modest proposals and lofty rhetoric Monday evening, the subtext will be simple: history will vindicate me.”

2007: Possibly “the worst year for the housing industry in nearly half a century.” Gooo, 2008!

Wasn’t it supposed to snow this weekend? Maybe it will snow today.

I'll add to the idle, uninformed speculation about Heath Ledger's death....he could have died from sleep apnea.

The masseuse said she heard him snoring...so he could have had either a heart attack or stopped breathing, possibly exacerbated by a legal drug. Sleep apnea causes you to stop breathing while asleep, and you feel like you haven't been sleeping at all, since your sleep is disturbed.

Notice that people say that Ledger looked very tired - he could have been getting enough hours of sleep, but not enough REM sleep to refresh him because of the sleep apnea.
